Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Slider Buns (12 count, like King's Hawaiian)
  • 1/2 lb Deli Sliced Ham
  • 1/4 lb Hard Salami
  • 1/4 lb Pepperoni Slices
  • 6 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Banana Peppers or Pepperoncini (drained)
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese

Equipment

  • 9x13 Baking Dish
  • Serrated Bread Knife
  • Pastry Brush

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Using a large serrated knife, slice the entire block of slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the individual rolls connected. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. Layer the meats evenly across the bottom buns: start with the ham, then salami, and finally the pepperoni.
  4. Add a layer of banana peppers (if using) and top with the slices of provolone cheese. Place the top half of the buns back on.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 10-15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is fully melted.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a layer of chopped banana peppers or mild pepperoncini inside the sliders before baking. Let them sit for 5 minutes after baking so the cheese sets.
